Cody Jorstad, Director of Housing Development
Cody Jorstad is the Housing Hub's Director of Housing Development. Cody is originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia but has called Tennessee home since 2017.
Upon graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering, Cody began working at Mountain TOP as a Service Area Manager. The time spent on staff at Mountain TOP was incredibly formative and Cody gained a love for the community on the South Cumberland Plateau. He also expanded his understanding and appreciation for just how important housing is.
Cody moved to Nashville for a few years while his wife Rachael attended graduate school at Vanderbilt. While there, Cody worked for a large production homebuilder and gained significant experience in a short amount of time. Cody is excited to be back on the Plateau and involved in work that is truly exciting and meaningful in so many ways.
Cody has been married to Rachael since 2020. They can often be found with their dog, Jake, walking the Mountain Goat Trail and spending time in our area's State Parks. Cody enjoys playing golf, working on house projects, and is an avid sports fan.
