Become a Homeowner

At Housing Hub, we aim to be a full-service provider that guides individuals and families through the mortgage qualification process, and then builds new, affordable homes which can be purchased at below market rate pricing. An overview of our process can be found below.

Our Initial Interest Form is a great way to get in touch with us. Physical copies can be found at our office, as well as a digital version, here.

Once completed one of our housing guides will schedule a one-on-one meeting to discuss what opportunities and resources might be available to you. Our office at the Littell-Partin Center is a welcoming place to get personal attention, guidance about where to get the information you need, and answers to your questions, such as:

  • How do I qualify for a mortgage?

  • How do I address any current debt?

  • What home ownership training do I need to complete?

  • What is the ‘sweat equity’ I will need to contribute to building my new home?

After the initial conversation, those interested in continuing will enter a partnership with Housing Hub where we continue to offer mentorship and support throughout the qualification and homebuilding process.

There are some income restrictions to working with us. The Housing Hub’s first priority is to build affordable and workforce housing, as defined below. Situations may arise where we will consider working with those above the 80% Area Median Income (AMI). If that is your situation and you are interested, please still reach out.

  • Homeowners of affordable housing earn up to 60% of the Average Median Income (AMI) in your area.

  • Homeowners of workforce housing earn up to 80% of the Average Median Income (AMI) in your area.

Housing Hub does not ultimately determine mortgage eligibility. Our goal is to guide individuals and families through the process and connect you to resources which contribute to overall affordability.
